ACC Network Xfinity – Exciting News For 1000’s Of Fans

ACC Network Xfinity

ACC fans have waited two long years for the ACC Network Xfinity agreement that will bring conference sports into their homes and businesses. Today (Tuesday, November 30) the parties involved in making it all come together, Disney and Comcast, announced a new carriage deal that covers all of the ‘House of Mouse’ content (Disney, ESPN, ABC, FX, Nat Geo and the SEC Network) plus the addition of the ACC Network being carried by Xfinity.

With the addition of Xfinity households the ACC Network is fully distributed across every provider and available to almost 90 million households. The deal will see conference schools scooping up a larger paycheck in the future as both carriage costs and ad revenue put significant money into the collective kitty.

In late summer of this year ACC Commissioner Jim Phillips had given fans hope that an agreement may be worked out in time for football season. The timeline we spoke of here in the fall gave a more realistic view of the deal and when Xfinity viewers might see the ACC Network. Indeed, that is exactly what has transpired and changes might be realized at the end of December or early January.
