ACC Football Media Guide Week Twelve

ACC Nation Staff @accnation –

ACC Football Media Guide Week Eleven. How quickly times flies. There are only 4 weeks of regular season games left with 1 conference championship and multiple bowls being lined up as you read this article. And what exactly do we know about ACC football? Wake Forest still leads the Atlantic with NC State a game behind the Deacs. Will that change this weekend? Meanwhile, Pitt still leads the Coastal with Virginia a game behind the Panthers. Pitt can help themselves with a win over North Carolina or they can end up tied with the Cavaliers. The Hoos could be without their starting QB in Brennan Armstrong against Notre Dame in Charlottesville. If the flame-thrower gets the nod the Irish defense will get quite the workout. A win by Virginia in front of a prime-time ABC television crowd would deliver all kinds of goodies under their Christmas tree.

Those certainly aren’t the only important games on the schedule. And without two exceptions most opening numbers indicate matchups should be as close as a touchdown or less. The question always is, will it play out that way? You can hope so.
