ACC Broke After Duke? NC State WBB On Fire | The 25

Countdown

When looking at the overall performance of ACC men’s basketball teams after Duke you get the impression something is broke. Looking at games during the month of January gives you a feeling you are listening to a broken record. Big win, big loss, close game, overtime with little to no rhyme or reason when it comes to the matchups. Meanwhile, things have parsed out a bit over in women’s conference play but it’s still NC State that’s holding all the cards and seemingly have a few Aces up their sleeve as well.

Have You Heard?

In the latest AP Top 25 polls for both men and women, when it comes to ACC teams, things look pretty much the same. Overall, there is a new number one on the men’s side and some shuffling of the top 5. When it comes to women’s basketball things are fairly stable at the top. Dawn Staley and crew are the new powerhouse as the evil empire known as UConn now takes up residence at the bottom of the top 10.
