United Soccer Women’s Top 25

Week seven of the United Soccer Women’s Top 25 has three ACC teams making a strong push forward in the poll.

Duke continues to hold down the top spot for ACC teams in the rankings with North Carolina right behind. Both teams are seemingly entrenched in the top 5.

Virginia, Wake Forest and Florida State all make strong moves up this week.

One team drops from the world of the Top 25 ranked teams into the RV category. Notre Dame fell six spots from last week’s ranking after having broken into the poll last week.

Clemson and NC State continue to claim turf in the RV category of this week’s United Soccer Women’s Top 25.

In addition to the ACC Offensive Player of the Week, Latsko was named the United Soccer Coaches Women’s Division I Player of the Week for her performance.

McGlynn earned her fifth shutout of the season in a zero sum double overtime draw against Boston College. Playing all 110 minutes, McGlynn had a career high eleven saves. She notched her 10th career shutout over 28 games in goal for the Hokies.
