Here we are at week five of the football schedule with a number of teams more than glad to put last week behind them. Somehow we believe fans are right there along with them.
The ACC schedule kicks off on Thursday with a primetime matchup between North Carolina and Miami. We’ll see if this game falls into our “must watch” category.
The majority of the games are on Saturday (nine) with the final evening game a very promising dual between Stanford and Notre Dame.
Following last week’s question mark games there should be even more intrigue than usual. Can teams that have stumbled pick themselves back up and get back on track? The only way to know is to watch.
Here’s this week’s football schedule, including team, time and television along with some notes.

This Week’s Football Schedule – Games To Watch (Closer)
Yes, you’ve got your favorites to watch but here is an additional game or two that will be worth your time.
North Carolina visits Miami – What’s more dangerous than a hungry dog backed into a corner with nothing to lose? Possibly, North Carolina thus Miami shouldn’t treat this as a ‘gimme game’.
Syracuse visits Clemson – So many good games to call ‘Must Watch’ and this is one of them. The team that has the most fun goes home a winner.
Virginia visits NC State – From a pick perspective this may seem to be all Wolfpack but could we be overlooking something here?
Pitt visits UCF – Okay, the Panthers are down on their luck but if they can pull this one off….look out.
Florida State visits Louisville – This is a critical game for both teams. Who comes out hungry?
Virginia Tech visits Duke – The Blue Devils are the ranked team. Let that sink in. This has the potential to be a battle.
Stanford visits Notre Dame – These two are not particularly fond of each other and play their hearts out when they meet on the field. What’s not to like about that kind of game?
