Pack wrestling still leads the way in the ACC but a two week lull in scheduling may have slightly dinged NC State in the rankings. The last match was held in Naples, Italy against then #3 Oklahoma State on January 5.

The Tussle for the Troops event had both the Wolfpack and Cowboys with five individual wins. With the dual tied at 16 all Oklahoma State had three bonus points that clinched the win, 19-16.

Oklahoma State had a return to action 9 days after the event losing to then #7 Iowa.

Upsets have stirred up the rankings but when it comes to the top team, Penn State still is king of the mountain. The Nittany Lions pulled 11 of 16 First Place Votes to hold onto the #1 spot again this week.

Virginia Tech slipped a spot after failing to defend their Virginia Duals title against Arizona. The two teams swapped spots in the rankings.

North Carolina remains in the top 25 tied for the final place with Purdue. The Tar Heels fell to then #10 Arizona State 9-27 and pushed then #17 Rutgers before falling 17-18.
