Dazzling Deacs Reach 30 Wins, Fastest Mark Since 1949

Deacs

Those dazzling Deacs continue to lead ACC baseball in the latest D1Baseball Top 25 and along the way hit the 30 win mark faster than any other Wake Forest baseball team since 1949. With an ACC record of 13-2 the team also has their best start through 15 conference games since 2002. Wake Forest has outscored their opponents 60-25 over 9 ACC games. There are only (currently) three teams with 30 wins and that also includes Virginia and South Carolina.

Wake Forest is leading the Atlantic Division in the conference followed by Louisville and Boston College. On the Coastal side, it’s Virginia, North Carolina and Miami. The two division leaders also lead the conference in batting and pitching stats. The Cavaliers lead with a batting average of .337 while the Deacs have an ERA of 2.41.
