Cardinals Volleyball Solid No. 1 In Latest AVCA Top 25

Louisville Cardinals volleyball continues to hold down the fort at No. 1 in the AVCA Coaches’ Top 25 poll. Pitt is locked in at No. 3 while Georgia Tech is tied at No. 13 with UCLA. In the Receiving Votes category Miami is at No. 27 and Florida State No. 30. Louisville pulls in 61 of 64 First Place Votes while Texas, at No. 2 drew 3 votes. The Cardinals hold a 24-0 record headed into the remaining 12 days of regular season play. Georgia Tech hosts Pitt on Friday, November 19. The match will be televised on the ACC Network beginning at 4:00pm ET. Pitt then gets a shot at Louisville on Wednesday, November 24 at 5:00pm ET. That match will also be on the ACC Network.

The latest NCAA Power 10 includes both Louisville and Pitt holding the same spots they have in the AVCA rankings. Michella Chester of NCAA.com has Louisville, Pitt, Georgia Tech, Miami, Florida State and North Carolina representing the ACC in her latest bracket.
