Bowls A’ Plenty For The ACC+1 With 11 Eye-Opening Invites

Bowls

For the ACC and Notre Dame there is plenty of post-season bowl action in store with a total of 11 invitations. Rest assured, all have been accepted as you can tell from the list below. Among conference teams Pitt gets the top slot in bowls as the winner of their duel with Wake Forest in the ACC Football Championship game. Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi was the Spartans’ defensive coordinator for eight seasons before he took over the Panthers’ program. Is it a bit of a homecoming? Not really but bank on Narduzzi enjoying a win over his old team.

Notre Dame’s matchup with Oklahoma is one of two games on the list that are part of the New Year’s Eve Six. The Irish have methodically made their way up the ladder this season. The departure of Brian Kelly to LSU late in the season came as a bit of surprise and it remains to be seen if it has an impact on the performance of the team.
