No pain, no gain? It’s a battle every step of the way for teams wanting a shot at the ACC title. At this point of the college football season the pain of losing takes a long time to go away. Unfortunately, the accumulation of said misery has been building for weeks for some while the dark reality is just sinking in for others. On the positive side of things? The ACC finds itself with three undefeated teams and five teams in the latest USA Today Coaches’ Poll Top 25.

Who are the winners and who are the losers in Week 7? Will and Jim review the games from last weekend and take a look at what’s in store for fans of ACC + 1 teams this week. Though the schedule is still limited, action gets underway on Thursday with a primetime mash-up between Virginia and Georgia Tech from Atlanta on ESPN.

The big game on Saturday features two undefeated teams and who can say they had this on their bingo cards? Syracuse heads to Clemson for a noon game on ABC to battle it out to be the leader in the Atlantic Division of the conference. Both teams have already locked in bowl bids. Clemson is already at 7-0 overall while Cuse is at 6-0.

There’s one other undefeated (in conference play) team over in the Coastal Division. North Carolina is 3-0, 6-1 and have locked in a bowl bid. The Tar Heels have the week off before heading into a challenging home stretch to finish the season.
