Heading into Week 8 of college football the ACC has five teams rolling in the Top 25 of the Coaches’ Poll. For the first time in years the top five doesn’t include a Nick Saban led team following their loss by a field goal as time ran out to Tennessee. The Vols have become the team du jour with the win.
That’s likely just what Dabo Swinney would prefer as the focus isn’t on the imperfections the Tigers have been working through. Clemson has slowly but surely worked out the kinks. With less pressure they may well be in a prime position as playoff time comes round.
