ACC Swimming Diving Championship

The NC State men’s team has won the ACC Swimming Diving Championship for the third year in a row.

With six individual and three relay titles, the Wolfpack accumulated 1,297.5 overall points in the competition to claim the title.

The event, held at McAuley Aquatics Center on the campus of Georgia Tech, saw nine ACC records broken.

Among those breaking a number of ACC and meet records, Ryan Held of NC State.

ACC Swimming Diving ChampionshipHeld was named Most Valuable Swimmer of the championships.

During the championship he set new ACC marks in the 50 free, 100 fly and 200 medley relay.

He also set meet records in the 50 free, 100 fly, 800 free relay and 200 medley relay.

Coming up March 6-11, Virginia Tech will play host to NCAA Zone A diving competition.

The NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled for March 22-25 in Indianapolis.
