ACC Rowing Championship

Nine teams prepare to compete in the ACC Rowing Championship, Sunday, May 14, at host Clemson’s Lake Hartwell facility.

Perennial favorite, Virginia, miss out on a number one seeding in the First Varsity Eight this year to Syracuse. The Cavaliers did pick up the top seed in Second Varsity Eight, First Varsity Four and Third Varsity Eight.

Duke picked up the number one seed in the Second Varsity Four.

The field also contains teams from Notre Dame, Louisville, Miami, host Clemson, Boston College and North Carolina.

The morning and afternoon events begin with the Coxswain weigh in followed by competition. The Morning schedule is as follows with each category having two heats.

The Afternoon schedule is as follows with each category having a Grand and Petite Final.

Award ceremonies follow and will be held at approximately 8:00p E.

The preliminaries get underway at 8:05a E with the finals capping the day at 5:35p E with streaming coverage on ACC Network Extra.

The NCAA Rowing Championships will be held in West Windsor, NJ, May 26-28.
