ACC Football Schedule
This weekend’s ACC football schedule begins with a Friday the 13th mash up. Clemson and Syracuse battle it out at the Carrier Dome. Last week the Orange pulled out an ACC win against Pitt. Meanwhile, Clemson was a two touchdown winner over Wake Forest.
The match up will be a kick the tires test for Dino Babers. Facing off against the top echelon of the conference will give the coach an opportunity to gauge how far his rebuild has progressed.
For anyone wondering if Dabo Swinney’s starting quarterback, Kelly Bryant, has recovered from an ankle injury. The answer is, yes. Swinney says Bryant was practicing on Monday and he expects him to start against Syracuse.

ACC Football Schedule – The Pick
This week’s Saturday football action kicks off with Florida State travelling to Wallace Wade Stadium to take on Duke. Both teams are coming off close losses and are looking to rebound.
The Seminoles need to pick up a win, in fact it’s critical if there is to be serious talk about heading to a bowl. A loss to the Blue Devils is the last thing the Florida State program needs at this juncture.
Duke needs a rebound game and knocking off Florida State would be a big psychological win for a program still trying to establish an identity.

With a solid win over Louisville and a couple of extra days to recover NC State heads to Heinz Field to take on Pittsburgh. The Panthers continue to struggle and have lost quarterback Max Browne for the season due to a shoulder injury.

Boston College heads to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium to take on Louisville. The Eagles have a defense but continue to seek an offense that will put points on the board for a win against ACC opponents.
The Cardinals flounder along the offensive line and have weaknesses on the defensive side of the ball that won’t allow them to close the deal.

ACC Football Schedule – Power Poll
The first of two mid afternoon includes a match up between long time rivals Virginia and North Carolina. The Cavaliers travel to Chapel Hill to take on the Tar Heels at Kenan Memorial Stadium.
North Carolina has been struggling this season while Virginia is riding a wave of resurgence with two recent wins over Duke and Boise State.

ACC Football Schedule – AP Top 25
This week’s big game pits #11 Miami against Georgia Tech in race for the Coastal Division title.
The Hurricanes are dealing with a number of key injuries, especially on defense, that may present a challenge in containing the option offense of Georgia Tech.
The Yellow Jackets came off a solid 33-7 performance in week 5 and had a bye in week 6.
Miami had a huge battle with Florida State last week and came out the winner in the final seconds of the game, 24-20.
