The USTFCCCA Top 30 men’s and women’s rankings of college cross country teams has a flurry of activity going into the final week before ACC Cross Country Championships. It isn’t the best of news for a few ACC men’s teams, either. Three conference teams fell out of the latest poll into the receiving votes category. Former No. 17, No. 18 and No. 27, Wake Forest, North Carolina and Syracuse respectively took a nose-dive into the Receiving Votes category of the poll. On the women’s side, former No. 1 NC State was bumped to the second position. Is this merely a late season adjustment or have teams taken their eye off the ball, so to speak?

The conference competition gets underway on Friday, October 29 in South Bend. The women’s 6K starts at 10:00am ET and men’s 8K at 11:00am ET with streaming coverage on ACC Network Extra.

With an open week between the conference championships and the NCAA Regionals, Virginia Tech will host the Hokie Open on Friday, November 5.

Then, on Friday, November 12 the NCAA Regionals will get underway with ACC competitors spreading out across the country.

  • South – Huntsville, AL
  • Southeast – Louisville, KY
  • Mid-Atlantic – Bethlehem, PA
  • Northeast – Boston, MA
  • Great Lakes – Evansville, IN
