This Week’s Football Schedule

Football Schedule

Now that week one is under everyone’s belt, including that extra slice or two of pizza that you ate, it’s time to move on to this week’s football schedule.

Looking back on a weekend full of season opening excitement did it start out the way you thought it would?

To some degree the teams that we follow at ACC Nation have managed once again to turn everything upside down. That’s the fun of college football, at least for those on the winning side. If your team lost in their 2018 debut look at it as a hiccup and move on. We’ve got an entire season in front of us.

No oddball Thursday, Friday, Sunday or Monday games this week. It’s all about that Saturday tradition and here’s a list of teams, times and television.

This Week’s Football Schedule – Games To Watch (Closer)

Of course, if you’re a fan you already have your team scoped out. Here are a few other games that are worth keeping an eye on in no particular order.

  1. Duke @ Northwestern – Are the Blue Devils for real? A solid win here should raise heads.
  2. Georgia Tech @ USF – Consistency is the key to success. Will the Yellow Jackets build on week 1?
  3. Towson @ Wake Forest – Can the Demon Deacons show improvement in week 2?
  4. Virginia @ Indiana – A great start in the loving arms of a home crowd. How about on the road?
  5. Clemson @ Texas A&M – Will Dabo bring a gift that Jimbo will regret opening?
  6. Penn State @ Pitt – Love lost? None. Panther fans would like nothing more than to shut down the trash talk. Without a win they’ll have to suffer through more.
