It was primarily good news for ACC teams playing in the opening of the NCAA Regionals. Six wins, two losses and one game postponed due to severe weather in southern Florida made for a good showing for the conference. Another Regional, Statesboro, had delayed action that held back the Notre Dame, Texas Tech matchup for several hours and pushed the other game between Georgia Southern and UNC Greensboro to Saturday morning at 10:00am ET.
