Mr. ACC Goes To The ’23 Super Regionals | Bat, Ball, Glove

As conference baseball teams seasoned the prospect of having more than one dominant force heading into the post-season became a reality. There were so many teams and players making headlines all the way through the ACC Baseball Tournament that it was difficult to project who would come out as Mr. ACC. Which teams could head to Omaha for a shot at the title by being clutch when it mattered most?

Five ACC teams peeled away following Regional play and now only three remain and are in the Super Regionals. Unfortunately, only two of those three have an opportunity to move forward as No. 7 seed Virginia and (unseeded) Duke go head to head in Charlottesville while No. 1 seed Wake Forest entertains No. 16 seed Alabama.

Will and Jim take a look at other spring sports including an exciting run for the WCWS Softball Championship by Florida State. The No. 3 seed Seminoles have a huge obstacle in No. 1 seed Oklahoma but it’s not an unfamiliar challenge for the team.

We update you on the Men’s Golf Championship, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championships and the upcoming Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Austin where 120 competitors from the ACC will go for the gold.

There are some big names on the 2024 College Football Hall of Fame ballot. Several Mr. ACC type players and coaches are on the list. Read more here.
