Week 3 of ACC + 1 football kicks off on Friday night, then rousts you out of bed early for an 11:00am ET matchup and then finishes with a 9:00pm ET start for the last game. There are plenty of opportunities to add wins to the records of almost everyone in the ACC and you can monetize those wins. How? More TV time, higher rankings, better recruiting and you’re this much closer to a bowl bid.
Tonight’s Friday Night Lights action between Florida State and Louisville is one of the exceptions. Only one conference team walks away with the ‘W’. That’s the only in-conference game on the schedule. The opening line was -1.5 for the Seminoles. It’s now at -2.5.
Purdue opened as a -1 favorite but Syracuse has taken control and is at -1.5. Meanwhile, the big primetime game between Miami and Texas A&M is generating a lot of interest. The Aggies opened as -9 favorites and that has dropped to -6. Keep in mind how important wins for Cuse and the Canes will be in these two games. The momentum swing will be huge for both programs.
