It may be another jackpot season for ACC volleyball. In 2021 6 conference teams were selected to play in the NCAA Tournament tying a league record. Louisville and Pitt finished in the top 5 of the final AVCA Top 25 after making it to the NCAA Semifinals. Georgia Tech was ranked 8th and Miami 25th in that poll.
This year’s AVCA Preseason Top 25 includes 3 ACC teams, all in the top 10 of the rankings plus 3 additional teams in the Receiving Votes category. Louisville, Pitt and Georgia Tech return to the 2022 rankings while Miami is just outside the Top 25. North Carolina and Florida State round out the additional teams in the poll from the ACC.

The First Place Votes were split between the top 4 teams. Nebraska, though ranked the top team was surpassed by Texas in the voting. Louisville picked up 1 vote. Will the ACC hit the jackpot again with 6 teams getting invitations to the NCAA Tournament?
