Special guest Sam Neumann of The Clemson Insider joins us and delves into the inner workings of the team as they prepare to open the season. Neumann discusses the change in coordinators, the schemes, the players and breaks down the schedule.
If you were thinking the less than stellar offensive performance and loss of two top end coordinators was the end of the empire, think again. As always, Dabo Swinney called for next man up and by exercising that guideline filled his coordinator positions. The next challenge was breaking players free of the ‘injury bug’. Once you have them back, it’s plug and play time for the Tigers.
Does that mean they won’t face challenges in the ACC this year? Not quite. While Clemson has a few years on everyone when it comes to building their program the rest of the conference has been catching up. That makes for better football all around.

The Tigers will face a number of teams this season that will give them a run for their money. Does that mean they won’t find a way to the College Football Playoffs? Neumann shares his thoughts on the overall schedule and where you can expect stumbling blocks.
