The AVCA Volleyball Top 25 has Louisville and Pitt right back in the running for 2023 following an exciting 2022 season. Pitt and Louisville shared last season’s ACC title and that eventually had the two teams battle it out in the NCAA Tournament Semifinals. Louisville came away with the win and went on to face the top seed Texas. The Cardinals fell in three sets in the national title run.
Three players from that team made the All-Tournament team with two returning this season. Claire Chaussee won’t be returning as she played at the professional level for Macerati in Italy. Meanwhile, Anna DeBeer and Aiko Jones are both back and will play key roles in Louisville making another run this fall.

The ACC had three other teams advance into the NCAA’s as well in Georgia Tech, Florida State and Miami.
