ACC weekend baseball series action lifted North Carolina over Georgia Tech in the D1 Baseball Top 25 rankings. The Tar Heels were 2 of 3 against the Yellow Jackets but Tech still holds onto to the top spot in the ACC standings race.
Florida State had a decisive run against Notre Dame sweeping their series, 3-0. It wasn’t enough to make or break the Noles in the eyes of the voters so they hold onto the same spot as last week. Meanwhile, Virginia who came away with a 2-1 series mark against Clemson got dinged in the Top 25 but the Cavaliers still hold a top 10 position in the rankings. The last ACC team in the rankings, Boston College ran away with a solid 3 game sweep against Duke and were rewarded with a bump up the ladder of two spots.
