ACC Golf | 24-25 Rankings Off To Hot Start

ACC college golf rankings for teams and individuals.

There’s a lot to chew on as ACC golf approaches the one month mark of play. There’s three new schools and six teams competing. Be assured, there were no slouches added to the mix. The women’s season got underway August 26 and the men began on Labor Day weekend. With the new Scoreboard by Clippd ranking system adopted by the NCAA everyone is getting the most up-to-date scoring by players and for teams. That will be one of your first stops along the way looking at numbers and then we’ll top it off with the Top 25 from the Golf Coaches Association of America (men) and the Women’s Golf Coaches Association rankings.

But first, let’s go back to the 23-24 season and see what transpired. Let’s start with the women where Wake Forest won the ACC Championship. A total of eight teams earned NCAA Regional bids, six made it to the NCAA Championship with Clemson advancing to match-play where they lost to USC. The Championship went to Stanford who defeated UCLA. The Cardinal are starting out the season as the team to beat both in the ACC and nationally.
