Week Ten: ACC Nation Pigskin Picks

Week Ten
ACC Nation Staff @accnation –

Someplace in this world, pins were being stuck in voodoo dolls of each of our prognosticators. That’s one of many semi-valid reasons for getting bull-dozed in their picks in week nine. A quick peek at the ACC Nation Power Poll this week seems to indicate things are settling down in the conference. Looking back over the preceding weeks there was an equal sentiment beginning just after four. Well, week ten may not bring any additional comfort when it comes to their picking prowess.

Will and Jim are making it a race. Xayveon is playing catch up and Chris has been sliding a bit lately. All four took a hit with their previous picks. With the first three gentlemen coming in at .500 there isn’t any room to brag.

Clemson and Florida State had happy endings while Pitt, Virginia and Duke all got up on the wrong side of the bed. The big question, of course, is will week ten generate as much mayhem as the previous?

Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz: ACC Nation Power Poll

There are a few disagreements on how things will play out. Will’s not sold on Boston College or Virginia while the rest of the gang gives the thumbs up to the Eagles and Cavaliers.

Diminishing Returns

Just as a reminder, there are five weeks (after the upcoming) of regular season conference football left. After a breather we hit the ACC Football Championship. Then, we hold our breath to see what bowls might be interested in ACC teams.
