Following week’s 3 and 4 the dust began to settle a bit more in weeks 5 and 6. As we go into the back half of the ACC football schedule we’re getting a better feel for which teams are fearless and focused. Without a doubt, there are a few surprises. Welcome to #goacc football!
Week 7 is a limited schedule for ACC + 1 teams but not short on exciting matchups. All across college football the coming weekend has some superb head to head games that will keep you switching back and forth between monitors and networks.

Two numbers in the consensus line that you wouldn’t have expected at the beginning of the season are Syracuse a favorite over NC State and Clemson just barely a favorite over Florida State. With Devin Leary possibly out for a lengthy period it changes how everyone is looking at this game. Florida State has improved. The Noles seem to be fearless. They continue to improve as the season progresses but the same can be argued regarding Clemson’s offense which got off to a sluggish start this season. Home field advantages do come into play. Just how much have the Noles improved and will it be enough to knock off the waking dragon?
