Clemson secured their Super Regional berth with a 5-1 victory over Kentucky. ACC Tournament MVP Taylor Pipkins was instrumental in the win, hitting a two-run homer in a three-run fourth inning that helped the Tigers build their lead. All-American Maddie Moore also contributed with an RBI double.

The Tigers dominated their regional, defeating SC Upstate 10-2, beating Northwestern 1-0 in a nine-inning thriller, and finishing with the 5-1 win over Kentucky.

ACC Conference Performance

The ACC had a conference-record nine teams in the 2025 NCAA Tournament field and three regional hosts.

Both Florida State and Clemson face challenging Super Regional matchups. Florida State will host Texas Tech, featuring NiJaree Canady, the reigning USA Softball National Player of the Year who transferred from Stanford. Meanwhile, Clemson travels to Austin to face a strong Texas team.

The winners of these best-of-three series will advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City, where four-time defending champion Oklahoma awaits as the tournament’s No. 2 seed.
