Pitt Volleyball Tops Preseason Poll

A team that features five returning All-ACC players, last season’s conference Coach of the Year and were 2017 co-champions top the ACC Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll.

Pitt is the overwhelming favorite to take the conference championship this season. The Panthers netted 14 possible first place votes in the tabulation. Pitt’s Dan Fisher cast his vote for Louisville as coaches cannot vote for their own team.

Three members of this year’s team were selected for Preseason All-Conference Team honors as well.

Last year’s team made it to the NCAA second round before falling to number one seed Penn State.
