The Noles and Tigers grab the top spots in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Top 25 (M/W). It will only take you the blink of an eye to see that the ACC is a dominant force in men’s and women’s collegiate soccer. The latest additions to the conference are right in the mix, as expected, too.

The ACC men dominate the preseason rankings with a total of ten teams among the Top 25 while the women have a total of 7.
Conference action gets underway Thursday, August 22 with both the ACC Network and streaming side, ACCNX providing a wealth of coverage of soccer this fall. The women dominate the ACCN action with 28 games on the schedule while the men have 23 listed. There’s far more to choose from on ACCNX.

In 2023 the Noles battled it out with Clemson for the ACC Women’s Championship and met the Tigers again for a scrap that took Florida State to the National Championship match. There they met Stanford and took home the trophy with a solid win. With the Cardinal joining the ACC it presents some interesting matchups for both the Seminoles and others in both men’s and women’s competition.
It was an all-ACC Men’s Soccer National Championship as Clemson and Notre Dame fought their way to the top. Clemson took a 2-0 win over Stanford in the Quarterfinals. Then the Tigers came away with a 2-1 win over the Irish for the title in 2023.
