The ACC Board of Directors found out it’s all about ‘Mo Money’ as they work toward implementing an incentive program starting for the ’24-’25 season. A select number of conference teams pushed for an increase in revenue based upon performance. The driving force, sports wise, are football and men’s basketball but the details are yet to be worked out. Will and Jim jump on that topic and share their thoughts about the changes, how it might impact teams and whether there truly is a pot of gold at the end of the college sports rainbow.
The big question is, is the ACC in a better place than they are being made out to be? What happens when the audience and advertising get so diluted that no one can afford to divvy out the billion dollar payday?
Mo Money
The guys take a quick run through all the spring sports action with a special after the fact tip of the hat to the Wake Forest women’s golf team who won the national championship while the program was being recorded. They’ve got the latest baseball field of 64 projections from D1Baseball and much more.
