Nine ACC men’s tennis teams received invitations and by the Super Regionals Stanford, Wake Forest, Virginia and NC State were still in the running. The Pack, seeded No. 9 fell 4-2 to No. 8 seed Columbia and now the Cardinal, Demon Deacons and Cavaliers remain in the hunt for yet another NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship title to add to their resumes.
NCAA Women’s Golf | 4 ACC Teams Want That Title
No. 1 seed Wake Forest and No. 7 seed Virginia (prior to the arrival of Stanford in the conference) have pretty much dominated the ACC (with the exception of Florida State last season) since 2007. New arrival Stanford is second only to USC in overall titles with a total of 17 the most recent in 2000. Virginia is tied with Georgia with 4 titles and Wake Forest won their first in 2018.
