Banta takes us through the success of head coach Jeff Walz and looks at a team heavily loaded with first-year players. There’s many stat lines to look at and you can see where players are struggling but are close to breaking through. If a late season and ACC Tournament surge doesn’t occur the key to having the Cardinals return to form will be in keeping the roster intact.

Banta has an affinity for and training in baking thus a reputation within The Ville for bringing the goods with cookies. She shares some of that passion and we find out where the ‘foodie’ in her comes out when it comes to Louisville area eateries. Anyone making a journey for games should make note as she covers a nice variety.
