Jackson, Ogunbowale ACC Athletes Of The Year

The ACC Athletes of the Year, as voted on by a select media panel are Lamar Jackson and Arike Ogunbowale. The honors reflect the 2017-2018 athletic year.

Jackson was a two-time conference football Player of the Year and Heisman Trophy winner while at Louisville.

A first round draft choice of the Baltimore Ravens, Jackson was the first player in FBS history to rush for 1,500 yards and pass for 3,500 yards in a season.

In addition to All-ACC honors, Notre Dame’s Ogunbowale earned a place on the All-America team. Her play in back to back games in the Final Four helped the Irish win the national title and Ogunbowale MVP.

A last second overtime shot against Connecticut and a three-point buzzer beater against Mississippi State by Ogunbowale helped wrap up an exciting run in the NCAA Tournament for the Irish.
