Earl Grant To Take Over Boston College Men’s Basketball Program

Earl Grant, currently at College of Charleston is expected to be named the next head men’s basketball coach at Boston College, according to ESPN. CBS Sports first reported on the possibility of Grant taking over the reins from the departed Jim Christian who was let go in February. Grant has been with the Cougars for seven seasons. In the last five seasons the program has finished fourth or better in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). College of Charleston has been to the NCAA and NIT tournaments once each over that seven season span. His record was 127-88 with the program.

Grant brings with him a broad rand of experience including some in the ACC. He was an assistant coach at Clemson, also Wichita State, Winthrop and The Citadel.
