Dangerous Hoos Yearn For A Shot At The ’23 NCAA’s

Dangerous

Let’s be honest. When it comes to the ACC, it’s not only Virginia that presents a dangerous challenge for their opponents come March Madness. As the clock rapidly unwinds the regular season, conference teams have to prepare for the gauntlet that awaits in Greensboro. For a handful, a good run there may be the difference between an NCAA bid, another post-season tournament or simply hanging up their shoes.

When it comes to ranked teams, the ACC started off on the right foot and then someone tossed a banana peel onto the court. As you’ll see in a moment the conference that started out with the top ranked team in the nation is now looking at that same team barely squeezing out a spot in the NCAA’s. It’s somewhat difficult to comprehend.

Even Virginia, a team that has managed to wrest control of the conference away from Clemson and then Pitt has been spotty at times. Nonetheless, a win is a win is a win. Both the Hoos and Canes have fought their way to top of the ACC and held on. The remaining regular season games present a number of potentially dangerous challenges for both teams.
