CSCAA Swimming And Diving Top 25

Six men’s and six women’s ACC teams head into the holidays among the CSCAA Swimming And Diving Top 25. Collectively three teams, Virginia Tech, Florida State and Duke are in the RV category of the poll.

NC State leads the men’s side of the conference sitting among the top 5 programs in the nation. The Wolfpack moved up 3 spots in the rankings.

Louisville leads the women’s side with a top 10 program. The Cardinals moved up two places in the poll.

Pitt’s Christmas Meet, this Thursday through Sunday, wraps up conference action until early January.

The schedule goes into overdrive as teams prepare and position themselves for the ACC Swimming and Diving Championships in Greensboro. The women will compete February 14-17 and the men follow that up February 21-24.

The Wolfpack remain the dominant team in the conference and previously mentioned, move up three places in the CSCAA Top 25.

Louisville, Virginia and Georgia Tech all move up in the rankings. The Cardinals added three notches, Virginia is up two and the Yellow Jackets move out of the RV category into the Top 25.

Florida State and Notre Dame dipped in the poll. The Seminoles slipped one spot while the Irish took at hit falling seven places.

The Hokies are receiving votes and are four spots shy of breaking back into the Top 25. Virginia Tech was ranked as high as #19 earlier in the fall.

ACC Women

Louisville moves up two spots in the poll and holds the lead among women in the ACC.

Virginia may be giving the Cardinals a run for their money in 2018. The Cavaliers broke into the top 15 moving up five spots from the previous poll.

Virginia Tech danced with a ranking earlier in the season going as high as #21. They move out of the RV category back into the Top 25.

North Carolina holds steady at #21 in the poll.

NC State and Notre Dame both drop in the rankings. The Wolfpack go down two spots while the Irish a notch.

Florida State and Duke are just a few votes shy of being in the Top 25.
