Boston College, Florida State Play Fenway

Fenway Park, the iconic home of the Red Sox will host a two day college baseball event this spring. Of interest to ACC fans is a north – south match up between the Eagles and Seminoles. Boston College will host Florida State on Saturday, April 21 at 3:00p E in the 7th Annual ALS Awareness Game.

Former Eagles captain, Pete Frates, serves as the impetus for the event after being diagnosed with ALS in 2012.

Ticket proceeds from the game will benefit the Pete Frates Home Health Initiative, a pilot program of the ALS Association. The organization works with the Massachusetts Chapter providing in-home care assistance for individuals with ALS. Specifically for those who cannot otherwise pay for services.

America’s oldest Major League ballpark, Fenway has also hosted Eagles football games. Two of the most recent include Boston College and Connecticut in November of 2017. And, in 2015 the Eagles hosted Notre Dame before a sellout crowd of 38,686.

Tickets for both games will be available at a later date.
