It’s time to break out the plate brush. In some cases that may be snow shovels. College baseball gets into full swing in just about a month. There’s been a slow trickle of preseason Top 25 rankings since December and now D1Baseball has released their preseason Top 25 rankings. NC State’s Pack 9 get the nod as the team to beat this spring in the ACC. The staff neatly tucked three teams into the 10-15 spot and another trio into the 20-25 range. There’s one noticeable absence among the ACC contingent, a team that has been there consistently over the past few years. We’ll be sure to ask Fitt about that and the rest of the conference teams when we get his thoughts on the upcoming season.
