ACC Rowing Championship – Top Seeds UVA And Cuse

The No. 10 ranked collegiate rowing team in the nation, Virginia is the No. 1 seed in four of five competitions in the ACC Rowing Championship. Syracuse, ranked No. 18 nationally earns the No. 1 seed in the fifth and will take the first position in the First Varsity Eight heat. Along with Virginia and Syracuse, Duke is also ranked in the CRCA poll at No. 17. The Cavaliers are the reigning conference champion.

The event is hosted by Clemson at Lake Hartwell, May 17-18. Preliminaries begin on Friday at 3:35pm ET with coverage available on ACC Network Extra.

Competition gets underway at 5:35pm with Third Varsity Eight followed by Second Varsity Four and First Varsity Four. Then, Second Varsity Eight and First Varsity Eight heats wrap the evening.

The finals on Saturday begin early at 6:05am ET with the Coxswain Weigh In. Competition begins at 8:05am with the last heat beginning at 9:55am. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 10:30am.
