ACC Outdoor Track Field Championships

Fifteen men’s and women’s teams are ready to battle it out at the 2017 ACC Outdoor Track Field Championships in Atlanta.

Georgia Tech’s George C. Griffin Track Facility is the venue for this year’s event.

Virginia Tech’s men and Florida State’s women will defend their 2016 ACC Championship titles.

Three ACC performers enter the event ranked #1 nationally in their events.

Syracuse’s Justyn Knight in the 5 K Meter, Notre Dame’s Anna Rohrer in the 10K Meter and Florida State’s Kellion Knibb in the Discus.

Virginia Tech’s Torben Laidig currently shares the #2 ranking nationally in the pole vault.

Men’s hammer competition kicks of the event at 11:00a E on Friday, May 12.

Women’s and men’s 10K Meter finals wrap up the first day with both set to begin that evening at 8:10p and 8:55p respectively.

The Decathlon kicks of the events on Saturday, May 13 beginning at 11:00a E.

The women’s and men’s 3K Meter Steeplechase finals conclude Saturday’s events. The women are slated for 8:30p and the men at 9:00p.

On Sunday, May 14, field events kick off the day at 2:00p E with the men’s High Jump, women’s Triple Jump and men’s Discus.

The three day event concludes with the presentation of awards at 9:00p.

The NCAA Championships will be held in Eugene, OR. Hayward Field will host the event, June 7-10.
