When it comes to opinions, we’ve all got one. Fortunately, the ACC Nation Power Poll isn’t about rocket science or we’d all be headed to Mars by way of Venus. As long as you get there, right?
The top 5 ACC teams in the College Football Playoffs Top 25 are all there but not lined up quite the same in our poll. Fortunately for us we’ve got a group of voters that have an opinion and will gladly share it with you…whether you want it or not.
There isn’t a great deal of movement this week among the fifteen teams that are ranked. Virginia and Miami are the only two teams that registered significant ‘fade’. Meanwhile, Duke and Pitt add a bit of luster to their numbers.

Three weeks of regular season football and then eyes turn to the ACC Football Championship and bowl bids.
The two teams that we keep an eye on that are looking pretty solid for a shot at the national title are Clemson and Notre Dame. Is there anyone on the regular schedule that could ruin a post-season run? Boston College and Syracuse are the remaining ranked teams that the Tigers and Irish will face. The Eagles host Clemson this week while the Orange and Irish will meet in the Bronx on Saturday, November 17.
There are four games on the schedule this week that present interesting matchups.
The lone non-conference tilt has Liberty headed an hour up the road to Charlottesville to take on Virginia. The Flames have had an interesting debut in the FBS with a mish-mash of opponents. Here’s an interesting pre-season background read on the team. A challenge for the Cavaliers will be in not taking a hungry team for granted.
