Here we go with week 7 of ACC football and it’s time to look at how our triumvirate are performing with their picks.
Going into week 6 Will and Xayveon managed to tie things up at 46-13 while Jim came away with a 48-11 record.
The biggest stumbling block for all three was their pick of Syracuse over Pitt. Xayveon had a slight misstep selecting Boston College over NC State.
Might their picks this week be bold and brash or will they stick with a sure thing? As the season progresses it becomes more difficult to catch up with the leader so expect some of the former rather than the latter.
Let’s see where the guys have been to get a better feel for where they’re going.

Here are the games that qualify as wildcards in this week’s picks –
- Duke @ Georgia Tech – The Yellow Jackets offense is beginning to click. Did Jones come back too soon? Will and Xayveon jump on the Paul Johnson bandwagon while Jim sticks with Paul Cutcliffe.
- Miami @ Virginia – Is this truly the trap game that Will and Xayveon believe it to be? Miami rolls into Scott Stadium where the Cavaliers have had ample time to prepare. Jim believes the Canes will be too much for the Wahoos.
Also on the schedule this weekend –
- Louisville @ Boston College
- Pitt @ Notre Dame
- Virginia Tech @ North Carolina
As you can see in this week’s picks there isn’t much optimism when it comes to Louisville, Pitt and North Carolina. Can any of these three pull a rabbit out of their helmets?
When teams have a big up week there often is a drop off in performance in the next game. Should that happen will Pitt or North Carolina have enough in their tanks to pull off the upset win?
Who are you picking this week?
