Ready or not here it comes. The ACC released their 2018-2019 men’s basketball schedule (scroll down for link). There may be one or two games that spark your interest.

The conference season kicks off with a match up between Virginia Tech (ranked #16 in an ESPN Way-Too-Early Top 25) against Notre Dame. The Irish will travel to Blacksburg to face the Hokies on Tuesday, January 1.

In the first week of action alone all seven ACC teams ranked in the Top 25 of the aforementioned poll are on the schedule.

This year’s ACC Men’s Basketball Championship will be played at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center. The tournament runs Tuesday, March 12 through Saturday, March 16. If you plan on attending you may want to book rooms now.

ACC Men’s Basketball Conference Schedule

The conference’s current lineup of schools own 7 of the past 18 NCAA Championship titles with 16 overall. Combined there are a total of 63 Final Four’s and 624 NCAA Tournament wins.

Three of six active Division I men’s basketball coaches who are members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame are in the ACC. That list includes Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski, North Carolina’s Roy Williams and Syracuse’s Jim Boeheim.
