This weekend’s ACC football schedule is an all Saturday event. There is a plethora of tasty match ups from which to choose.

The opener is on the road to redemption as Louisville faces off with Florida State. Both teams have had rocky seasons thus far.

Bobby Petrino’s Cardinals head to Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee carrying a 4-3 record. Jimbo Fisher’s Seminoles are 2-3 and are working out some kinks in the game plan.

Both teams want and need to find their way back to the formula that brings home the win.

ACC Football Schedule – The Pick

Pat Narduzzi will bring his 2-5 Pitt Panthers into Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham to battle it out with Duke. The Blue Devils are 4-3 overall and want to rekindle the momentum they had earlier in the season.

Pitt and Duke have proven worthy opponents thus far. This may be a sleeper full of some exciting ACC action.

Two teams finding new life this season are Boston College and Virginia. Steve Addazio may have finally lit the offensive fire the Eagles have been missing for so long. Will it be enough to counter Bronco Mendenhall’s resurging Cavaliers?

Boston College bring a 3-4 record into Scott Stadium in Charlottesville to face a 5-1 Virginia team.

ACC Football Schedule – Power Poll

The first of two mid afternoon games begins with a struggling 1-6 North Carolina heading north to Lane Stadium in Blacksburg to take on a 5-1 Virginia Tech.

The Tar Heels have been plagued by injuries and haven’t found their rhythm. Virginia Tech is coming off a bye week and are ready to get back in the fray for the Coastal Division title with Miami.

Game time is 3:30p E with coverage on ESPN2.

The second mixer is appropriately at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. Syracuse comes off an upset win over Clemson and would like nothing better than to apply the same wood to the Hurricanes.

Syracuse brings a 4-3 record into the game with hopes of adding a notch that will help them make it to a bowl. Miami remains unbeaten at 5-0 and would like the wave they’re riding to play out even further.

ACC Football Schedule – AP Top 25

The evening games kick off with 4-2 Wake Forest heading into Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. The Demon Deacons will go toe to toe with a 3-2 Yellow Jackets team that took Miami to the wire last week.

Will Dave Clawson’s team be able to handle Paul Johnson’s tricky option? This appears to be a defensive battle but make no mistake, the offensive firepower of both teams should not be underestimated. This promises to be a fun game.

Game time is 7:30p E with coverage on ESPNU.

Wrapping up the evening, USC brings their 6-1 record to Notre Dame. The Irish sport a 5-1 record with their sole loss coming to Georgia earlier in the season, 20-19.
