NCAA Women’s Golf | 4 ACC Teams Want That Title

It took a top five finish to make the grade and four ACC teams did just that as they move forward to the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship. Last year’s champion, Stanford took the top spot in the Norman Regional, Florida State won the Lexington Regional, Wake Forest finished atop the Lubbock Regional and Virginia finished tied for third in the Charlottesville Regional. Marie Madsen of NC State earned an individual spot.

Twelve teams and three individuals were selected for the NCAA Regionals.

Current ACC teams have a solid track record of winning championships. Stanford defeated UCLA in 2024, Wake Forest won in 2023 over USC, Stanford took the 2022 title with a win over Oregon and Duke battled it out with Wake Forest in 2019.
