ACC gymnastics has been on a journey. Just a few short years ago three teams were part of EAGL and then Clemson announced that they would be adding gymnastics to their sports roster. This move allowed the four ACC gymnastics teams to be recognized as a conference sport. Now, with the addition of former PAC 12 powerhouses Cal and Stanford the ACC has upped the competition in-house.

The latest Road To Nationals rankings finds Cal at the top of the ACC, the top 10 nationally and are the best of the best in the western region. NC State holds down the third best spot in the southeast region while Pitt holds the same in the northeast region. The rest of the teams are solidly performing and hold down the 15 -25 spots in the rankings for week three.
